About Your Donations, Where & How They are used

As part of my Barberton Community Mobile Soup Kitchen daily run I got to meet the beautiful people of Dixie Farm, a small community outside Barberton. On the last day of my 2 month stint the pastor of the local church approached me with a request to NOT stop the feeding project, as they were struggling with the effects of lock down (like all of us).  Now this church……  Of course God took advantage of my huge love for these kids and immediately laid it upon me to rebuild the church, for reasons I don’t have to explain. Raising funds during 2020 has become a kind of a no-no, as everybody is hanging onto what little reserves they have left, which left me with a dilemma.  This is my true testimony.  For the first time in 15 years of self-employment a huge blessing (actually a miracle) crashed down upon me and a benefactor saved me from a life time of loan repayments!  Thanks to this I could resume my soup kitchen (albeit only twice a week) and put down a small deposit on my church programme.  The bright idea to enter a GWR attempt was thought up by Andrea @ Barberton Adventures, Rhinus jumped in wholeheartedly and the rest is history.  

Now we can all sit back and watch our project grow!
